There were a number of positive signs in the February Edmonton real estate statistics. The average time it took a single family home to sell was down to 45 days and the average price was up slightly when compared to January. Sales were up a whopping 39% when compared to January but down dramatically from February of 2014.
In the Condo market, it was pretty much the same story with the days on the market down to 50 days compared to 61 days in January. The average price was also up slightly for condos and the number of sales was up by 35.8% when compared to January.
The amount of listings is up from last month but there should be more buyers coming into the market in the next couple of months.
